Scuola Italiana Vittorio Montiglio

santiago-chile·Chile·The Institutional Educational Project is the document that contains the principles guiding educational objectives and supporting the personal and social development of students, initiating the development of the profile of individuals capable of functioning in a globalized society, respecting diversity, and being fully aware of themselves and their surroundings. This instrument indicates who will carry it out, how they should be organized to fulfill the mission, and the elements necessary to achieve effective educational management, which must occur in an environment of internal coexistence and participation by all members of the School Community. In a world of constant change and scientific and technological advances that require adaptation to an increasingly complex society, and in the context of the new phase our Institution is undergoing, we have drawn up a Work Plan that will allow us to reach the objectives necessary to “educate citizens of the world.” The first objective is the updating of our Institutional Educational Project, which will be the backbone of all others. In updating the Project, all parts of our School Community participated: counselors, administrators, teachers, non-teaching staff, parents/guardians, and students, forming working groups, technical meetings, formal consultations, and conversations. As a way to align the educational interests of the community with the orientations and new social demands, we will periodically review and update the contents of this instrument, incorporating aspects that substantively contribute to improving the quality of the education we provide. We invite the whole Community to actively participate in this Project, transmitting it in the actions and educational tasks we undertake, making it a constant reference to guide pedagogical practices and student formation. Sincerely, Patricia Ferralis, Consiglio Direttivo (2016). Download the Project (PDF) and View the Project Online.
